Quality Control
Chemistry is not assumed at Rincaro. It is measured, corrected and measured again before any metal is cast.
Quality Policy
Right Chemistry, Every Heat
Rincaro Alloys is committed to supplying aluminium alloy ingots that meet the agreed specification on every lot, supported by in-house testing, disciplined process control and continual improvement.
Our quality approach starts in the scrap yard and ends at dispatch. Segregated raw material, controlled melting and multi-stage spectro testing work together so that our customers can charge our ingots straight into production.
- Meet customer specification on every lot
- Test, correct and verify before casting
- Aluminium-only processing to avoid contamination
- Continual improvement and staff training
Control Points
Where We Check Quality
Incoming Scrap
Visual inspection and segregation of every scrap lot by type and alloy family.
Charge Planning
Furnace charge is planned from segregated stock to approach the target grade.
Melt Analysis
Samples from the bath are analysed on our spectrometer during melting.
Correction
Alloying additions or dilution bring each element inside the specified range.
Final Check
A final spectro test confirms chemistry before the heat is released for casting.
Ingot Inspection
Ingots are checked for surface, shape and cleanliness before bundling.
Testing Equipment
VAS Silver Optical Emission Spectrometer
Our lab is equipped with a VAS Silver optical emission spectrometer configured for aluminium base analysis. It measures key elements such as silicon, copper, magnesium, iron, manganese, zinc, nickel and titanium within seconds, giving our melt team real-time data to act on.
- Aluminium base programme
- Multi-element analysis
- Results in seconds
- Heat-wise records
